Human Criteria Metropolitan Areas and Areas with Local Restrictions Several of the Peugeot UK Selection Criteria include a provision that the requirements of the criterion will be subject to review by the Peugeot Franchise Validation Committee. Metropolitan Areas These aredefined within the Peugeot UK Network Plan as those major cities of the UK and their surrounding urban and suburban areas with a population of 500,000 or more. Areas with Local Restrictions These are defined as areas where there are natural or legal restrictions imposed on either the buildings or the environment of the contract site which prevent the contract holder from achieving compliance with the Peugeot UK Selection Criteria. For example, abnormally low planned volumes as a consequence of operating in an isolated market, or listed buildings, preservation orders, local government restrictions,etc. AH1 EXISTENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS OF THE GENERAL MANAGER ON THE CONTRACT SITE REQUIREMENT There must be a full time, dedicated General Manager on the contract site who has either passed an assessment for new entrants or has acceptable positive experience in the Peugeot Network in this function. MINIMUM VALUE There must be a full time,dedicated General Manager on the contract site who has either passed the Peugeot New General Manager Entrance Assessment, subject to the approval of the Peugeot Franchise Validation Committee,or has at least 6 months positive experience as a Peugeot General Manager in the last 24 months. Note: Where the Vehicle Distribution contract and/or the Parts Distribution contract are applied for, in addition to the Authorised Repairer contract, the General Manager requirements for each contract are inclusive and therefore all are satisfied by one General Manager. AH2 EXISTENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SERVICE MANAGER ON THE CONTRACT SITE. REQUIREMENT There must be a full time, dedicated Service Manager on the contract site who has either passed a Peugeot defined profile-based interview for new entrants or has acceptable positive experience in the Peugeot Network in this function. The Service Manager must have decision-making power in terms of day-to-day service activity. MINIMUM VALUE There must be a full time, dedicated Service Manager on the contract site who has either passed a profile-based interview, subject to the approval of the Peugeot Franchise Validation Committee, or has at least 6 months positive experience as a Peugeot Service Manager in the last 24 months. Where the contract site plans to sell less than 4,500 hours per annum across all brands, the Service Manager may also be the General Manager. Where the contract site plans to sell more than 4,500 hours per annum across all brands, both a full time Service Manager and full time General Manager are required (or equivalent in time spent). AH3 EXISTENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS OF SERVICE CUSTOMER ADVISORS. REQUIREMENT There must be a team of trained Service Customer Advisors in sufficient numbers who have either passed a Peugeot defined group assessment test for new entrants or have acceptable positive experience in the Peugeot Network in this function. MINIMUM VALUE There must be a team of trained Service Customer Advisors in sufficient numbers. Service Customer Advisors involved in the service and repair of Peugeot vehicles must have either passed a group assessment test, subject to the approval of the Peugeot Franchise Validation Committee, or have at least 6 months positive experience as Peugeot Service Customer Advisors in the last 24 months. There must be at least one full time Service Customer Advisor for every five vehicle technicians (or equivalent in time spent). AH4 EXISTENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS OF MASTER  TECHNICIANS. REQUIREMENT There must be a full time Master Technician on the contract site who has either successfully completed a Peugeot defined profile-based interview for new entrants, and completed a Peugeot defined training course, or has acceptable positive experience in the Peugeot Network in this function. MINIMUM VALUE There must be a full time Master Technician on the contract site who has either successfully passed through a profile-based interview, subject to the approval of the Peugeot Franchise Validation Committee, or has at least 6 months positive experience as a Peugeot Master Technician in the last 24 months. There must be at least one Master Technician for every seven vehicle technicians (or equivalent in time spent). AH5 MINIMUM STAFF. REQUIREMENT A specific minimum number of people are employed for Peugeot Authorised Repairer activities. MINIMUM VALUE There must be a minimum of four full time members of staff on the contract site (1 x General Manager/Service Manager, 1 x Service Customer Advisor, 1 x Master Technician and 1 x Vehicle Technician). There must be at least one additional full time member of staff per 1,500 planned hours sold per annum (or equivalent in time spent).
